What does it take to get to the original pump once the tank is dropped? As in how do I get it out? Details are much appreciated.

Undo all hoses from tank
Disconnect harness from underneath
Drop tank
Undo the snap ring
Lift pump assembly out of the tank.
Disconnect pump to pump assembly clips
Disconnect pump corrigated hose
Disconnect the rubber hose
Take off the filter on the bottom
Take the pump out
Put the new filter on the bottom
Install new pump
Connect clips on the pump to the assembly
Connect corrigate hose
Connect the rubger hose

Put all back together

AHHHH

That's it in a nutshell

So even with six tabs if I can get one to move it'll "spin" off? And what is this blue colored "disc" with and L-shaped neck on it that sits lower than the fuel pump assembly? I disconnected that line too that connected to the L-shaped neck.

Okay I got the piece to "spin" off but it seems hung up on something stopping it from pulled out of the tank. What could it be and how do I move on from here?

Okay, it's all out and apart. Which wire (yellow and black) is positive and negative? Looks like the wire connector they sent me isn't exact, all I need to know though is which is which and I'll be able to move past this problem by joining the connector they sent me (red/black) and the wires already on the fuel pump assembly (yellow/black).

I had the same problem with the wire colors and it turned out to be orange to blue and purple to green.
