Map sensor question
Sunday, November 07, 2010 10:50 AM
Hey Guys. I just have a question about which map sensor I should be using. Mods are in my profile but the basics are 99 cav 2.4 Im almost finished my turbo project but am unsure if I need to or can run a 2 bar map. I wont be using the gm reflash because I dont want to lose any gauges as im told will happen if I go that route. I will be tuning via hp tuners. Do I need a two bar map sensor? Can I run a 2 bar on my computer which will not read boost anyways? Correct? If so which 2 bar map can I use? Will any 2 bar map work if I wire on a different plug? eg: a grand prix 2 bar map. Any help in this area would be greatly appeciated. Thanks!!

Perfect. Thanks! I was thinking today I pretty much answered my own question.....lol My computer cant read boost so no point in having a MAP that can. Thanks again for the response.
