there was once a procharger put on a saturn on 2.2 eco, it was by a company called speed mafia in Florida but i think it was a custom thing they dont even have it listed any more. Personaly i think the 4 banger thing has run its coarse. With wrxs/evos used all over the place and with challenger/charger/camaro/mustang and all the other import rwds why beat your head against the wall with a fwd car with no power adder. Also the trick with the ecotec cars is take the blower of the cobaltss/ion red line and adapter to your car. another car that can be bought used for a nice price lol.

i know on my cavalier the ac condenser is along the bottom. if i stripped my ac i could fab a bracket probably and put one down there. i know about all the new cars out, i just want to something that someone hasnt done. the only one i have seen is not streetable. also it would be kind of hidden.

So I'm guessing you want to do this because its not common? Thats cool and if thats what you do good luck, but it could become a lot more costly than a good turbo or s/c setup would be. Abviously it can be done as the pics above prove that, but not sure what kinds of custom parts are required which could make this project expensive.

The centrifugal SC's like Procharger have never gained a foothold in the four-cylinder market due to their high RPM requirement to produce boost. As they don't begin to create appreciable boost pressure until high RPM, but still rob crankshaft power throughtout the RPM band, they just don't satisfy on anything other than V8 applications which benefit from considerable low and midange torque.
