what holds that metal line in can i just bend it with heat or are there seals in there i need to bend it on the car cause i need the car done sunday morning for dp fabrication....cant i just cap that closest one and run my saab return directly into the far hose? i dont need heat since its strictly a summer car now.... i really just wanna bend it outta the way and go to the parts store and rum bulk hose that i can run over out of the way.....

if your talking about the ends coming out of the T-stat housing, I believe they are just pressed in. the ones in the firewall go to the heater core and attached there, and should have some kind of rubber grommet to keep the weather out.
