ok ive done a bit of reading and still have some questions. now i understand the two big keys are where your pulling your feed from on the motor and the actually turbo itself but my question is for instance i plan on running my feed from the front of the motor ( eco) and i have a T3 60-1 turbo so at firstt i would thing i would possible need a restriction but if i were to add a oil cooler into the mix would i still need to run a restrictor? i mean im adding volume with the cooler. if i still need to run a restrictor would it be easier to just run a smaller line possible ? someone please enlighten me

RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
The restrictor is to reduce pressure, smaller line would increase pressure.
I think you first need to verify what your turbo needs for pressure. Then decide where to get the feed from.
From the front of the motor, or the block you are going to get as much as 125psi, head you will only get about 80psi cold.
FU Tuning
I still use a restrictor and I have an oil cooler.

The smaller line increases pressure upstream of the turbo. With a smaller line, the pressure going into the turbo is lower. If the turbo is a journal bearing, you can usually use -3 unrestricted.
I use the head for the saab set up that I have is that ok??
