Whats the normal vacuum reading on a supercharged 2.2 ecotec, also I had a problem with my vacuum line that connects to my intake manifold n a T to fuel regulator n the boost gauge. I was letting the car warm up n then I hear the fan come on and the temp wasn't half way to 195F I ran inside the car n my check engine was on I plug my obdII reader n P0300 came on I was like hmmm weird I cleared the code then I turn the car on n I noticed the my vacuum was off it was marking at 10 n I always seen it at 20 so I checked the connection of the boost line and the little grommet was crack I placed a new one but I haven't been able to drive my car yet any one that had any problems also ill be looking deep for vacuum leaks its been over a year since I had the kit on the car thanks
dude use periods and commas and @!#$. it is your friend. i would so help you id i have ANY idea hat you were trying to ask.
Vacuum reading on a m62 kit at idle?
Assuming your idle hasn't been changed from stock, 17-22hg would be a normal vacuum pressure. Dipping into the 10s indicates a leak most likely. Is the brake booster properly connected to the blower? Re-check your connections from the mani to the gauge and fpr, gotta be a leak somewhere
yes idle still at 500rpms, i checked had a small leak in the line the runs to the boost gauge i replaced, i drove the car for 40 miles it seems to be working ok, so after all this just by having a small leak in the line the runs to the boost gauge it will give you code p0300.
500. how do u guys get such low idles...mine idles right around 9.
i have a fire also and its at 900 too weird that sunfires i seen with eco's run 900, mine is automatic but doubt its that, a friend of mine has a manual one he used to be 500 before he went to 480WHP
I have a 03 Cavy 2.2 eco with cai and it idles at 900 so 500 seems pretty low.. But Im no expert!! lol
mine has always been at 500 rpms since i bought it from the dealer
Thats crazy..lol..Its a wonder it just dont bog out an cut off.. But all cars are differant ya know.. Good luck with everything!!
Auto's are set to idle around 600 RPM's. Manual's around 950 RPM's.
Of course this can be changed with HPTuners.
