Pics of option B Tank Mounting Plesase

Just got all the parts last week form a member here,All ZZP stuff including the option B tank.

Decided to go see where the tank may fit,Did not notice how big the tank is and how there is not much room under the hood..

I found a spot on the firewall where the ECM used to be mounted on the passenger side,And there were 2 factory studs in the firewall,With the tank kinda mocked up the tank will fit on the one stud and I will make a bracket to fit from the strut tower to the tank.

The hose will clear the engine, and the DC Sport strut bar fits on and you can still get the cap on and off,Due to the fact the strut bar has a bent spot to clear the ECM when it is in its place.

Now the only issue I am concerned about is well its mounted over the header,So worried about heat.

But i did notice that the 2 factory heater hoses are mounted very close to the collector, and they seem fine..

So any help would be great,Thanks, jason

I mounted mine next to the head, right behind the power steering reservoir. I used a different tank, but it's the same concept. I took the EVAP solenoid and flipped it upside down and mounted it to the bottom power steering bolt, and made a bracket the goes from the top power steering bolt to the top mount of the tank. The other bracket sits and mounts against the wheel well, under where the stock air box would be, and the bottom of the tank bolts to that. Works very nicely and is clean looking IMO:

Since the pics, I've also swapped out the return line with a tigger 90* bend so i don't have such an eyesore running under the fusebox.

We mounted the ZZP tank under the passengerside headlight. We made it the highest point in the system.

Just make sure you make the tank the highest point in the system and you'll be ok. Mine can be seen in my sig, the batt is in the trunk.

Cool ok well hoping I can get it high enough in behind the light. And my batt is still in it's spot.

And I was kinda right. Mazda of some sort. Thanks for the help.

Mine will be mounted where the stock air box/ filter housing was, after I relocate my battery to the trunk and reroute my intake to the fender well over the old battery location. Similar to what Jmarks did.
