I have a ecotec with a recently rebuilt t3 turbo, when I start it up it smokes until the motor warms up then doesn't smoke at all after that. Anyone have a answer?
I had a major smoke problem with the valve cover seal. The oil was leaking out of the valve cover and getting sucked in the turbo, I replaced the seal and it isn't smoking very bad now just during startup until it warms up
The motor has 55,000 miles
What color smoke? Black or white?

mine did this for about 50 miles, it was all the old oil burning off, to this day the turbo is fine.
