I saw an ion supercharger/motor/tranny for sale. It is going for about 1000, what would be need to put this motor into my auto cav 2003? thanks

comes with computer and the tranny does not have any thing but the tranny. just fyi

you dont need the whole engine just the blower and pulleys the computer comeing
with it may not help you i'm not sure if it can be interchanged to our cars.

but deff grab it thats a hell of a deal.

the whole thing is on ebay. See i wanted to buy the whole thing cuz its a better motor and the 5speed. the motor has the upgraded rods on all the superchared ecotecs

Who said about getting the trans to fit? Just going to use the SC and keep the long block incase its needed or re sell it... Now I need to wait for the reflash before I can do the SC install. Looks like it will be a weekend of fun at your house soon to come

I got up at 6 AM today called them, asked if they would sell it buy it now they said NO. About 15 min ago I get an e mail saying 1500 buy it now.. I called.. waited till they fixed the acution bought it now.. and now its on its way to me. Should have it end of next week.

find a dead saab 9-3! they have been out since 02 (or 03 i forget) with the 2.0 eco turbo and i do believe they have a better head.

they have the same head the 2.0 s/c has , its the sand cast head

Shipping here to a local hub so I can pick it up. When the Reflash is ready and I have ready for the swap I will either trailer my car down with the stuff or just bring it down, do the install and get the reflash done at the local dealer that your buddy is working at and go from there. I should have the engine by the end of next week. The reflash is not do for another 6 weeks or so. I still need to get the intercooler and some other smaller items so it wont be till say Sept. or so until this gets installed.

well the 2.0 s/c motors sell on ebay , ive watched a 2.0 turbo motor on ebay twice and not sell

i think because it has the SAAB name attached to it , people think its worth the big bucks

than a motor from a chevrolet or saturn


the saab motor on ebay was 2050.00 , and didnt sell twice at that starting bid , LOL

GREAT!!! Good attitude Karo! I hope you can find a way to wire in the motor. You are putting the whole motor in correct? I would love to just buy the 2.0L and swap out my 2.2 Eco, but the wiring and programming was always the issue. Mechanically, it should be very straightforward. I would rather go this route than to buy the GM kit which never actually comes out. Keep us posted.

no... karo isnt swapping the whole motor just the s/c.. that is all. it is in a earlier post of his.

He will be using the SC on his cavalier and the long block will be used for something else along with a nice turbo . . . . . or he might sell the long block not 100% sure....
