To all with the charger and alcohol/water injection
I would like to see which water/alky injection kit everone is using and what size nozzle.
I currently have the coolingmist kit with the 3.9 Gph nozzle.
yeah id like to know also , for when i get my s/c on
What you have equates to 246 cc/min. That about where you want to be. Any more than that and I've experienced power loss.

i told the cooling mist guy around 200whp. not sure which one that is.
Thats what i told him and i got the 3.9. There is a number on the nozzle M3 is the 3.9
I have a M10 nozzle on my turbo 2.2. I might go up to a M15 later on.

that number could be different from the coolingmist setup. do you know how many gph it is rated for?
All I know is that the M10 does 51.3 at 40psi and 39.6 at 100psi. I think that is mircons. The M15 that I might get flows 15GPH @ 100psi and 9.49 @ 40psi.

thats way too much water
I am not using water, I am using 100% methanol.

still , thats a lot of liquid to be pumping into the engine
The car seems to have been running fine for the past year with the nozzle. I will check later on to make sure that it is a M10 nozzle.

I think that GP said that there is a place close to him in Wisconsin that sells methanol.

I have never heard of that, but it seems to me that most of the guys with fast/high horsepower turbo Buicks are running straight methanol injection. I have been running straight methanol for the past year without any problems. I put in about a 50/50 mix of water & methanol last week...now the car is idling weird and making odd noises.

Quick question, whats the advantages of methanol over alcohol? I'm installing my kit now, and I was planning on running 50/50 water/alcohol. Thanks.
Methanol is a type of alcohol. There is also denatured and rubbing alcohol. There might be one more that I am leaving out.

OK yea, there are 3 types of alcohols used....methanol, denatured, and isopropyl (rubbing). From what I have seen, the cars running lots o' boost are running straight methanol. But other people doing fine with a methanol/water mix.

i will try out the heet/water mix and see how it reacts.
so far it is running great with just the -20 windsheild washer fluid.
