i used to have a cavalier conn. turbo header but it cracked 2 of the pipes coming up under the turbo so i took it off now im waiting on a log style man i bought . so which is better the long pipe style like cav conn or the log style? oh if anybody wants that header let me know it might be fixable ?
13's or blowning it. one way or the other!
log has less heat loss, so more of the engines heat power goes to the turbo, so more energy will go towards spooling the turbo, but the flow is not as efficient as the style from cav connection. So, the long tube one will have better flow and help with spooling in that respect, but heat is lost as it travels the longer distance.
People say one is better then the other, and some people thing the other way around. I don't know who is right. i have no personal experience. Thats just what i've read.
i personally favor equal length header style turbo manifolds.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
