i have seen some drive shaft on cavs and fires (5 speed isuzu) and i've only found CV's with a bearing that attaches to the block at the auto wreakers.....I've heard that some newer Z's didnt have that bearing. Can they work on a '99 Z?
Does anyone know, i'm going to the wreakers tomorrow, just wanna know before i buy them.. thanks, let me know
If you get axles with the bearing that connects to the block, it will work on the 99 2.4L that does not have it stock. You just have to get the entire bearing assembly as well. The holes are already on the block and tapped, so it is merely a bolt-on.
Then you will have equal length axles and will eliminate a lot of torque steer if you have it.

all the 5 spd axles are the same isuzu and getrag
and if your gonna use the earlier axle with the bearing on it , you have to have the bracket with it , the blosk is set up for it already
