I have a 93 Pontiac Sunbird with a little issue. I can start it, put it into gear and not have the clutch depressed. I can't move, I can't do a damn thing, and I don't have the tools to open it up, so I'm going to have it looked at by a professional, I'd just like opinions before I do this.
Is it probably..
Clutch - (It did a 2nd to 1st shift on an original clutch and stopped moving a couple miles down the road)
Transmission - What and why. I had one mechanic tell me synchros, but I don't think he's the good mechanic he thinks he is.
Also, I'd like to know if I can replace it with a 93 Cavalier transmission, and what make and such they are. Any tips on cheap transmissions would definately help too.
