I just got my short shifter in on friday and i'm puttin it on tommorow (sunday). It's an 04 cavy. i know some people have had problems with the o-ring and had to get a bigger one. my question is was it the upper or lower and how much bigger did you go? also, did you have to cut any metal out of the way to get it in gear? thanx for any help.
never mind on the o-ring, i found a post..... its amazing what a search can do..... haha
... but what about the cutting? did anyone have to cut or did it work fine? wild weasel's how-to doesnt say to cut, but i wanted to make sure before i tear it apart.
