I don't understand what's going on with my car but these are the symptoms.

When I'm going through a parking lot in first gear. around 2000 rpm's or so.. I hear this horrible grinding/rattling noise.

Same thing in second gear. around the same RPM's

Could possibly be my timing chain. but it seems my clutch is to blame.

not sure if this should go here or in the maintenance forum.... someome give me an idea please?

I haven't got my getrag installed yet... so I don't know from experience... but this could be the famous "getrag growl" that they apparently all do.

I head about that. only seems to happen in first and in second.

gotta love it... oh yeah it makes people love my car.... "oh that's a nic...." *grinding noise* "That's a nice junker"

there's a post somewhere on this and how to fix it. but all attempts have failed.

I think mine does the same thing... I'm pretty sure it hasn't always done it.. but it seems to be the loudest when I'm pulling a slight incline real slow in 1st or 2nd gear.
