99 tranny into 2000 z

i probably have a stupid question but will a 99 z24 manual tranny fit into my 2000 auto z24 , or should i get a 2000+ tranny to fit.

Shifted

It will fit, but I would stick with the 2k+, the Isuzu's weren't great transmissions. Plus the isuzu never came in the 2k+ cars, so for ease of use (sensor wise) I would stick with the getrag.

actually for it to fit you have to install the frame mounts from the 99 , use the 99 clutch , and the 99 shifter and cables
