i have an 97 2.4l convertable. i just installed the upper n lower motor mounts, but not my car is acting very wierd. it only happens when i first start the car and come to my first stop. it feels like my car wants to keep going and kinda feels like its going to conk out.,but is fine if i give it gas right away. otherwise my car shuts off and it doesnt want to stop back up right away. and ideas? all help is appreciated.

well the mounts are gonna make the car idle alot different, alot rougher......but the car obviuosly shouldnt be stalling

switch the mounts back out and see if it fixes the problem.....if it does id leave them things off for good before something gets screwed up

If its an auto, I would say it would be the TCC Solenoid going bad. But they usually only acts up when the car is warm/hot..Well, up to operating temp anyways...Very common on GM cars.
