i have a 96 cavalier with a 2.2 auto. my axle shafts are starting to make noise and i want to replace them before they become a big problem. are oem or lets say napa or bumber to bumber replacments able to handle plenty of power? (hopeing to do some moding soon) if not who makes good performance axle shafts. thanks for any help.

they are fine. The axle that Drvieshaft shop sale are OEM with "better" parts. The stock one can handle 300hp easily. Don't run slicks and you'll be fine.
