mine was soo wierd for a while the engagment and disengagment was like a inch from the top but i think gm didn't surface the flywheel soo be sure to resurface it.. and now after driveing it for a long while its really touchy at the bottom like it should be and take some getting use to but my time are all much more consistent i was hitting 15.43 at around 5000 ft and 2.1 60 foot not bad for all my mods and snow tires {ricers style} which i like to call it but you can't beat driving abiliy the lowest time i hit was 15.7 after like 15 passes so yea............

Its Pronounced {TEAR I AL}
YEAH THE ORANGE BITCH CAR HIT FASTER THEN YOUR HONDA!!!!!!

My pedal is about the same, maybe slightly siffer. Engagement is a couple of inches from the top, but only an inch of pedal travel to engage or disengage. I love how you barely have to push the pedal take off.

Well i just installed mine today along with an aluminum flywheel and i will drive the car for the first time in the morning when i finsih up a couple small problems, Bleed to clutch out and fill the trans with fluid.

Ill update this with my impressions after that.

Stock pedal feel, engagement right at the top of the pedal.... clutch burned an started slipping in under 1800 miles.

After being taken off for inspection the friction plate was burned badly, the flywheel was burned and scarred (it was balanced and machined before installation), and the pressure plate fingers weren't "right"...

It has been sent back to SPEC for inspection along with the fubared flywheel. I was not pleased to say the least, it was installed by Racetech in Toronto so you KNOW it was put on properly.

They're gonna get a piece of my mind.
