so i wrecked my car and dented my tranny pan. had to get a new one cause it got a dent right where the filter went. i changed it out and now theres fluid leaking out. do you think that i tightened the bolts to far or what. i tightened them and still leaking, they seam pretty tight.

can i get a sealer or something like that.

also i have a 99 2200 auto

Did you get a new gasket along with the pan? Should of did that if you didnt. Get a new gasket, tighten down again and see if that helps.

Ya i got the new gasket with the filter i had to get.

what do you think about putting another gasket on with the one thats already on there?
is that a dumb question?

also i had one bolt that got bent can that be the problem?

Nah I wouldnt put a gaske on top of another. Also, can you tell where the leak is coming from? If it is coming from that bent bolt, yes replace that.
