i was brackett racing my Z, low 9's high 8's, 2.00 60's.... any way.

on my last run i hit 2ed, at least my shift lever did... now it just flops around like if the cabels came undone, but thay dident, i cheeked... any ideas, there is no noise, nothing, its like its not there,

can u shift it at the tranny where the cables go into?

same thing happened to me a while back and we were able to put the tranny in 4th so i could get home from the grove'.


i still think it it you cables. well lets hope so.

i found out what it was yesterday, the shift arm that ataches by a roll pin to a rod that goes inside of the tranny to shif the gears. any way the pin broke, all ive got to do is replave the pin, and not shift as hard.
