im leaking tranny fluid from the gasket(its been replaced).dont know why its leaking besides i had messed up my pan. so i replaced the pan. so i just wanted to know what is a good sealer i can use?
the gasket should be enough, are you sure the new pan is flat? the gasket not pinched? did you get the old gasket completely off? you may have overtightened the bolts, they should be barely tight. except for a few chryslers i dont use permatex on any pan, but if you must, use permatex red.
I would make sure the bolts are tight on the pan. My friend had the same problem and he just tighten all the bolts a little more and it fixed the problem.
