i just needed to know if i it will hurt anything to install a high performance stall converter before my car sees boost or should i wait, thank you
No, it will not hurt anything.

Yea, ummmm. I used to have a J-body...
thank you,. now ive heard that i mite have problems with highway driving, like if im revving around 2500-3000 the car mite start to slip because of the higher stall speed on the tc
The converter clutch has enough force to stop the turbine and pump from moving at different speeds; IE slipping. Most quality TC's come with a carbon ceramic clutch lining that will last for well over a 100 000 miles with normal use. The only way to make the clutch slip while locked up is with a very high HP sports car. Even then it is usually not a big problem. LS1's even have an option in the computer to keep the TCC locked up during a shift.
I suggest doing a TC before a forced induction package or cam as you will not see the full performance gain without them!
I actually with my Camaro was an auto because my cam doesn't come in until 4000 and a TC would help me get there faster WHILE still making the car launchable.
