I'm trying to find a lower km trannsmission for my car, i called a local reputible wrecking yard , asking about some '99 trans. b/c i was under the impression 96->99 were the same and possibly 96->02 were the same for the
2.4... but the parts guy says with a 96, i must stick with a 96 transmission, only thing is...all the transmissions i can find for a 96 are double the km's mine is,

any GM techs here know this to be true?? thx in advance, Sean
