B&M, HURST, etc...
Does anybody know of one that is offered that performs well?
Looking into trying to learn a little bit about automatic transmissions. Not quite to that point yet with my Cavy, but wanting some basic info if anybody has any to offer.
Thanks in advance.
B&M shiftplus for the 4t60E tranny will work on our cars.
Working on obtainting an M-Class license... ?? Hint: 2 wheels.
Word. I've seen some info on that. How about an actual shifter. I'm actually wanting to go with something better looking. I'm really not a fan of the way the automatic transmission shifter is looking stock.
I have been thinking that you could put a B&M quicksilver ratchet-style shifter in one with no problems.

Theres a good looking kit on there, they say its only like 20 bucks or so.
Thats just a shift knob, not an actual shifter.
Pretty much any universal auto shifter will work as long as its for a cable operated trans. I know a guy running a Hurst shifter in his car. Looks good, works good. Scrufdog had an aftermarket one as well, IIRC.
Hey James, you got a link to those shifters? Which HURST shifter was it?
Also, not familiar with scrufdog. Anymore info would be appreciated.
zsquee24, how sure are you about being able to put the quicksilver in?
