i have a 96 cavalier, 2.2 with a 3spd automatic. car ran fine, came to a stop sign and that was it. transmission went out. now it doesnt do anything. has anyone heard of this? the fluid smells a little burnt but it never slipped. does anyone know what trannies will fit this car?
could just be a broken axle,when one sheers it disenagaes the other therfore it wont do anything but sit
