Spec Stage 1 VS Centerforce Stage 2 VS Spec 5??
Monday, March 20, 2006 6:51 AM
My new engine has eagle H beams, JE pistons 9.0.1 compression and GM SC with alky, roughly 10-11 PSI. I have two clucthes, a Spec and a Centerforce. The spec is a stage one and the centerforce I am not sure, I was told stage two but how do I know?

Is there any way to know what stage it is?

Also would a stage 5 spec be too much?

Thanks
Chris

Yeah Stage V would be to much stage 3 should be all you really need even stage 2 if you look at the spec for the clutch then you should know what you need.

I went with SPEC just for the fact that i did some research not only for the J-body and i heard more bad than good about centerforce.

So do you know if there is any way to tell if the centerforce is stage one or two? Like a part number?
