I just put in a engine and tranny into my 96 cavalier 2.2 Automatic. I've noticed a loud tapping noise. i found out when i accelerate and let go of the gas to coast, exactly 2 seconds later, I hear a single loud TAP from the front right side, It happens everytime i let go of the gas pedal to coast. The best way i could describe the noise is a hammer hitting the cv shaft or tranny. The noise also appears even louder when i brake or brake while turning. Anyone know what it could be and how i could fix it?
