I have a 88 Z24 5 spd, the trans is fried. What are my options for a direct swap other than the 2nd gen? Will a 3rd gen 5 spd work? What other GM trans will work?
well u can either get it rebuild or go to a junk yard and try to find a other 5sp and I think u can use the newer style tranny on a older 2.8/3.1 motor
