Yeah umm does anybody have pics on how to hook this up..? I have the directions here for my Hayden but what im confused about is number 1, which line is the return line for the 4T40E? Top or bottom coming out of the condenser?
Number 2, they provided a fitting to hook up from the rubber hose to the return line on the stock condenser but how do I hook up the other hose coming from the 2nd outlet of the cooler to hook into the tranny?
Number 3, what do I do with the stock return line hose?
I though it would be easier than this lol.

Ive searched and found out the bottom is the turn line..
Ok, now the only part im really confused on is how in the world do you hook up the rubber hose that came with the kit to the existing stock cooler lines?
Also, the directions say push the four holding straps through the radiator so the cooler can have something to clamp to.. That wouldnt puncture it, causing it to leak?

Radiator is made up of tubes with fins between them to promote cooling, there is nothing to puncture don't worry I had to do the same thing with my oil cooler.

Slowly but surely may some day win this race...
Are you just hooking the cooler into the return line and having the stock cooler hooked up still?
I was wondering about just taking both lines off the radiator completely and running them straight to the Hayden cooler, bypassing the stock cooler altogether....
Car is for Sale!Supercharger kit is for sale!
Thanks Chris

Bobby, yes im just gonna hook up the cooler to the return line.. In the directions it says thats the best way to get the fluid 'cooler'. As appose to the way you want to do it.. I just think it'll be easier install to go the way I want to go, thats all. One less line to chop up

I used to have a tranny cooler for when I would tow my ATV with my Cavy. It as too long ago, though, and I don't remember how I hooked up it lol.

^^lol thanks. I think I have an idea
I think im going to cut the middle part of my return tranny line off(rubber part) and that will leave the two ends that are hard lines(one into the tranny, other into the stock cooler on Radiator).. Then ill connect the 2 hoses to each of the hard lines left and run them to the cooler..
Does that sound like it would work? lol

No, cut the return like a few inches off the radiator, put a flare on it so the rubber line has something to hold onto, put a clamp on it, run it to one end of your cooler, then take another rubber hose and run it back to the other part of the hardline you cut, with a flare of course. You dont HAVE to flare, I have done it without a flare, and it didnt leak, but i would feel safer with a flare. Not difficult to install, just use some common sense.
^^ Thank you.. But what do I use to flare the hard lines?

i just cut the rubber line, the bottom one, and put push fittings in and then put the tranny cooler inbetween the cut hose.... with those same push fittings on the cooler... i put a clamp on every fitting i used... never got a leak... good luck
