Transmission slipping?

I have an autotrans interceptor, which I always leave on setting 1 Ive used setting 2 only for visits to the track, because Ive heard that leaving it on max setting will wear out the clutch bands. Ive had it almost a year so today I turned it off to see if I could still feel a difference from stock to setting one b/c I had gotten so used to it. So it feels like its slipping with it off I dont remember it being that sluggish in switching gears back before I got the interceptor. Has anyone else had any trouble with their trannys slipping with the interceptor turned off or am I just freakin out b/c I forgot how slow the transmissions really are at shifting.

Mine did the same when I took it off to get some work done at the dealership. I dont know if its slipping or what. Drive it around for a while and you will get used to it again, then put the interceptor back on, feels like a totally different car. From what I understand the autotrans interceptor is not supposed to damage the tranny at all. I guess you could go to the dealership or used car dealer and drive a auto cav 3rd gen and see if it acts the same. Or you could bite the bullet and go to the dealership and have them check it out but I think thats a little overkill.
