Ever since I jumped the curb coming around the corner too fast. Pushed my tire in the fender about 6 inches..... blah blah blah. Now my shifter is tougher than before and grinds when I downshift into second. The shifter has hardly any side to side play unless to push harder than normal. Its hard to describe. In other manual cars the shifter is looser... and shifts into the gear smooth. Mine it harder to push into gears and it grinds when I downshift. I replaced my cables not to long ago.... could this be my shifter..? I will try to get a video up soon... also sometimes when its cold and I first start the car and try to select first... I have to kinda force it to go in... Not all th time but once a week or so.

You probably ruined your halfshaft gears if you pushed the wheel 6 inches into the body of the car.

this was a year ago.... i replaced the whole suspension on the driver side. since then it runs great cept for this little shifter problem. no prob hitting 108 safely
