Weighted Shift Knobs

Alright, well i've been searching. I hate the feel of the stock shift knob in my 96 z24. and i want a weighted shift knob, i think it will feel better shifting. granted its cold out now, but i can deal with it until summer. Does anyone know where i can get a weight shift knob that is made for the stupid jbody clip holder on our shifters.

thanks in advance

i dont think there are any aftermarket knobs let alone weighted ones for the 95-99 style knob with the clip. if you find one LET ME KNOW

another question for those with short shifters..
are they the same design with the stupid little c-clip holding the knob on?

p.s. maybe this is something TG should look into doing also

B&M's short shifter was designed to reuse the stock knob (95-99)

There are aftermarket Universal knobs that use 3 set screws to hold it on.

SPD RCR Z - '02 Z24 420whp
SLO GOAT - '04 GTO 305whp
W41 BOI - '78 Buick Opel Isuzu W41 Swap

Must be a '95-'99 thing only, using the stock knob? You lost me with that one... b/c my short shifter ('02) has a threaded on knob with a substantial amount of mass, as it's solid aluminum. (I also know b/c I have dropped on my bare foot before).

I have a Razo 340g on mine right now and i love it. It took me a little more work to make it work since i had to take a shifter from a MR2 and weld it to my B&M shifter but in the end it was def worth it.
