Press clutch in, hold, have someone else open bleeder valve, close bleeder valve, let clutch out.

Pump up clutch

Pump up clutch

Repeat until, after pumping the clutch, the pedal feels like it did before, then WITH THE FRONT WHEELS OFF THE GROUND, start the car and put it into gear. I like to run it through the gears and make sure theres no grinding before i call it finished. Its not like bleeding brakes, because with them you know theyre done when the pedal is rock hard... Unfortunately the clutch moves so it never gets "solid"

Dont go to fast, with the wheels off the ground.

An unloaded drivetrain, will have to much backlash and damage the clutch disc, I have seen this happen before.

No need to go fast, in 5th gear at idle its only at like 30mph if that. And as long as he isnt blipping the throttle violently it will be fine. Im not saying to do 70+mph like that, just enough to get it through the gears so you know the clutch is completely dissengaging
