Sorry I posted this in another topic but I didn't get a reply. I'm wondering when GM posted this Tech bulletin about the Slave. I bought a SPEC clutch (haven't installed it yet) summer 2006 and I'm wondering if they would have had a chance to update their slaves by then.

I cant copy and past off of SI, but in short it says that the MASTER is faulty, and it causes the SLAVE to "over extend" causing leak by, or to loose presser,
The cust, Has the peddle all the way down, and the clutch engages itself.

I had this problem. Was at wendys, car kept engaging itself. GM replaced it for me free of charge. Hopefully, they put in the new version!
So this is for 2004 models? I'm getting my stage 3 clutch / flywheel installed on monday so I'd also like to know if I should change something while the trans is out.
where the hell did you get that it was for 2004 modles?! some one asked when GM posted the bulliten, i answered 2004, the bulliten covers ALL F23 trannys.
what are you trying to ask?
