well i dont know i never done it before SMART ONE WELL DUMB ASS and i heard there is a few bolts under there and im not going to sit there and rip abart every bolt to find on.i just got done installing my s/c and thats why i dont feel like ripping them all out.
I do not have a picture. It is on the diff case. It is a Star bit socket. It faces the drivers side. It is easy to find.

actually there are several ones on there. the fill hole is actually on the side as well. i dont have pics but they are right about the star bit. it was tough for me to find but i eventually got it. and fill it until it comes out. its a pain to fill because of how small the hose is and where its at. you wont get a bottle in there to fill it no matter what.
All i did when i filled mine was i used the vent cap
made it pretty easy to fill..
thats what i was thinking.
thanks,james

Yeah wrong. YOu fill from the red cap at the top. The hole you are referring is use to see when it is full. If you have read post in this forum you would know GM changed the amount of fluid from 1.2 quarts to 1.8 quarts, and most all of us (who have changed our fluid) went with a full 2 quarts.
