Alright guys I got the car running. Just looking for additional insight.

I have 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and no reverse. No grinding, all other gears go in like always.

ANY COMMENTS? By any chance could it be reversed shift cables? A worn shift cable?

could be the 5 to reverse lock out has falied, and is keeping you from geting into that gate.


if you grab the shift levers on the tranny its self can you hit the gate? this would tell you if the cables are incorectly tightened in the shifter.

I haven't had reverse lockout working on the car for 3 years, maybe it decided to do something about that. hmmm. might as well check it.
