i got a 98 sunfire gt 2.4 5 speed and the transmission is gone i was wondering if i could swap it with any 5speed from a sunfire or do i have to get one from a 2.4?

It has to be the 1996-99 2.4L Isuzu NOT the 2000-05 Getrag transmission. The Getrag uses a different clutch, shift cables, etc...

I did the 5-speed swap on my 2.2 and I needed to make brackets and weld them to my frame.
i came across a 1996 grand am 2.4 any chance this would work/fit?
