Because right now i have a 96sunfire 2.2OHV motor, with a 3-spd automatic. I was wondering, if i take a 4-spd auto tranny from a different car with the same engine, would it essentially bolt up to my car? Of course, im expecting that theres gonna be some computer work to also go into it.....what else is going to be required (electronically...)?

What im looking for is, a smoother/quieter feel when im on the highway. I dont like going on long trips with my engine constantly revved to ~3 - 4000rpms the whole time.
