My clutch just went out last night. I need to get a new setup and I want to get the Fidanza Flywheel with it. What is the best clutch to work with these mods that I currently have? I want to be s/c in the next year or so.
2003 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2 Ecotec L61
Mods:
Prothane Lower Motor Mount
Rk Sport Upper Motor Mount
Prothane Trans Mounts
K&N Short Ram Intake
Vibrant Catback Exhaust
DC Sports 4-1 Header
RK Sport Crank Pulley
B&M Short Shifter
soon to be s/c.
I hear a ton of good things about Spec? What stage would match my needs?
Thanks for any help. Greatly appreciated.
id got for the spec stage 2+ series maybe even the lighweight version....the + series seems to get better drivability and life...

how does a clutch all of the sudden go out? usually it just continually wears till the car doesnt move anymore.
(unless you accually blew the clutch to pieces)
We are running a stage 1 spec with their aluminum flywheel.
The break in is about 500 to 1000 miles which is what we have on it now and it seems to be going better and better every day!!
The aluminum flywheel really change the way the engine revs since it it 10lbs less than the stock
We are happy with the set up
Have a look at are mods to see if they compare to yours, check the link !
