I was wondering if there were any aftermarket shift cables around that I would be able to put in my '03 Getrag that have metal clips where they connect instead of the factory plastic ones. I busted one at the track a while back and wasted 266 dollars to have the stealership put a new one in.

Just recently had the same problem with my 95 Cavalier. I'm having trouble finding any Auto Parts over here that still sells them.
I am about 99.999999% positive they are not made by any company.

+1, if you knew what was involved in changing the shifter cables, you'd think that was a bargain. to do it properly (without cutting the carpet and lower dash mount) takes a helluva long time.
