i just wanted to make sure 100%. the pics i have are that they are both F23's but like the fuel system, did not know if there were any other changes i would have had to worry about.
You could actually use any getrag from 00-05, the only thing you'd have to do if you got one from a ln2 or ld9 is you'd have to pull the bell housing off the trans that's in your car. The cases on the transmissions are all the same. I've got the gear case from a 01 along w/ the differential, 1-2 gear shaft and 5-R gear shaft just have the 3-4 shaft from my old trans. The only thing you might want to have checked in that instance is the spacing of the diff. I know that was a problem in the trans that I was running for the last couple years, hence the slight growl that it had from the day I put it in. The current trans is nice and quiet, I didn't even notice the standard "growl" that the getrag's seem to have.

One other thing that Karo mentioned to me is when you do clutch replacement on our car's is that you should replcace the clutch master cylinder as well.

im doing replacement trans, and clutch, and resurfaced flywheel, master cylinder, and all the stuff that comes with it.
