alrighty guys so i had a ton of old isuzu trans out back in teh shed and we needed some more rpm out of the corner with the race car so we swapped around some gears and shafts and what not and ended up with a 3rd gear ratio of 1.45 to start with and now we have a 1.52 and a 3.58 final drive to start and now a 3.81 so we are figuring this should give us about 1000-1300 rpm more which will help a ton, we also took out the 5th gear parts to reduce wieght in the trans and make a spring to pop in out of reverse so it wont get stuck and a mechanical stop for the 5th shift shaft, now i just need to redo the valvetrain int eh race motor, anyt houghts/questions/ideas?

ya i bought a set of teh stainless overive vlaves, 7mm stem we have to run flat tappet no roller and ya we are using teh isuzu but i didnt want the 4.10 this ratio should work just fine i have been counting gear teeth and dividing them so much this week haha
