OK When the car is shut off. i start it, it will not shift from 1st to 2nd untill about 3500-4000K.. But uts like its the amount of time. I can floor it and will never shift, just bounce off the rev limiter. If I gradually accelerate it will shift. Its about a block, when I leave for work it shifts in front of the same house on my street. Now, Once this intial shift is done, it shifts at a normal RPM. although its a frim harsh shift. That in and of itself basiacllt eliminates mech problems such as the front pump. The car is shut off, the problem is back. I know these 4T45s are electroniclly controlled. My Z24 had a similar problem whan I forgot to plug in the IAC sensor after my CAI was installed. Anyone had similar problems? Any easy thing to look for?
Problem2 anyone had the electrical system go nuts? Its like it only gts partial power. Headlights go dim. DRLs flicker on and off, and Dash lights come on and off.. like the car thinks its off, the key dinger goes off. But the car never dies. Its more annoying than anything. i just dont want it to lead to a bigger problem later

check all your grounds , make sure they are all nice and tite. as for the 4sp tranny, im lost for words really. only thing i can say is on my 2.4 4sp its take a longer for my car to shift from 3rd to 4th, that problem was fixed when i used the b&m shift plus. but dont take my word for it.
I may try it... changin fluids on these trannies is a PITA though. but like I said its only the 1st shift after startup
Checked my positive cable the other day, it seemed loose tightend it and it still loose. Maybe thats the problem.. I dunno. I'll try running some supplimental grounds. Origianlly the eletrical problem happened everytime I hit a bump. or during the 4000 RPM shift into second

it was the grounds lol... After talkin about it I went out and looked a little further.. the connection to the battery tray as pretty much desintegrated lol. Goblins gone now.. still got the tranny issue though
