I have 1993 cav vl 2.2 with 4L60E stamped on the transmission oil pan. Will shiftplus work on this configuration? I already tryed installing as per instructions both B&M's and on the org. with no results. B&M says not designed for front drive at all ie: no help. I do not have the plug at the front of the trans like the 40 does.
Any help out there would be greatly appreciated.
I would think having a RWD cavy you'd already have this stuff figured out after all the work you already did.

HELP PLease
Any help out there?? Any?????????
I would really like to get this working.
Do not have plug on front of trans.
Have small grey connector with two wires.
Thanks in advance.
In either case I don't think it will help him. Cuz I can think of 4 transmissions.
1 - The TH125 which is 3spd, hydraulically controlled.
2 - The 440t4 (don't think it was ever in the Cav though)
3 - The 4T60 Similar to the 440T4, yet not electronic. Transitional to the new 4T60E
4 - The 4T60E, which is only partially electronic. If I remember correctly it's only electronically shifted, yet pressure control is still run by a vacuum modulator, which means that the B&M won't work for it.

Thanks everyone for the insight.
Shifter is 1 2 D.
Overdrive is auto in D.
Oh yeah,
I can't find a modulator or the round plug on trans.
I have been over and under this thing several times.
I know 93 was a transition year but thought the trans would stay same.
Thanks again for the help.

no, torque converter lockup is automatic in d. you dont have an overdrive trans. the shiftplus will not work on your vacuum controlled non electronic transmission.
