4T40E, Stronger seals/gaskets?
Wednesday, November 25, 2009 4:02 PM
Is there any aftermarket seals/gaskets for this transmission that'll withstand a higher line pressure? I don't want to sacrifice it's shift firmness any more than I already have (lowered 4% from the last time via HPT) and I'm sick of breaking seals. Any ideas? If so, post a link I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Correct me if I am wrong but... I am pretty sure you do not have a 4T40-E transmission considering your running an ECO. Wouldnt that be a 4T45 or a 4T65?

um... of all the people ive heard running 100% line pressure with their b&m shift plus or autotrans interceptor units or even hp tuners turned up i have NEVER heard of someone blowing a seal due to it... you are the first.

do you really have 400whp+?
