ok im trying to take the bellhouseing off my junk trans i have , so far i took all the bolts out the bell i can see but it dont want to come apart is there a trick or am i missing something

i looked in the bell theres a gray looking cover plz dont tell me theres a bolt under it i pulled on this thang for 30 mins and did not want to try to pop that gray cover off if it had nothing to do with the problem

That bolt that you are talking about spins with the shaft right so do you just hold the center drive shaft so to speak and then remove the bolt

and how does that plate come out cause i damaged it on one of my junk transmissions
