I have a '96 Sunfire I am switching from a Manual to an Auto transmission. How do you remove the Clutch Pedal ? All I see are (2) big rivets. I have already removed the Cruise kill switch on the Clutch pedal, the Slave cylinder, Center Console, Shifter, and cables.

And what recommendations do you have for the brake pedal, the Console, and Shifter ? I'm putting in a '99 4T65E HD tranny. Is there a factory Slap Shifter Console out of another Pontiac that will work, or do need to look at a B&M shifter ?

Can someone tell me if these are rivets or bolts ? If they are bolts, where are the nuts ?
