can i change the differential bearings with the trans in the car?

1997 Cavvy, 2.2, 5 speed.
the drive axles have a bit of wobble to them where they go into the trans. it is also leaking fluid rather bad. trans works fine other than that- no noises or any funky shifting or anything of the sort.
this is a junkyard trans i put in 2 years ago after the bearings went out in the first trans and destroyed the housing. looking at the old junk trans, it looks like it can be done, but i want to know for sure before i tear my daily driver apart. if this trans goes, the car is getting parted out. i am not sinking too much more money or time into what was a $400 beater with a blown head gasket when i got it..

You can replace the seals without pulling the trans, but not the bearings. Sorry.
