So I have a 2002 LS Sport L61/F23 of coarse. I hydrolocked the motor so since the motor had to be replaced I had my bottom end redone all forged internals yada yada ya. Upon putting the motor bak in the car & attempting to start it the clutch went straight 2 the floor. I bled the line & noticed that i was not building any clutch pressure after i closed the bleeder. I called my brother out to pump the clutch while I observed what was goN on in the engine bay. It turns out it wasnt building pressure because the fluid was leaking out where the slave/tob assembly meet up with the hydraulic line to the master. I replaced the slave cylinder/tob assembly in hopes that this would correct the problem seeing as this is the location where its leaking but no good. It is still doN the exact same thing.
Guys i need help this is extremely frustrating. What could b causing this. It seems that the master is delevering fluid because it is at least making it to the slave & if its making it there i would also assume that the line is good as well but i simply dont know. Could this b an issue with the clutch or pressure plate maybe. I alligned with a tool & torqued to GM shop specs.
It beats a Honda!
Did you put any anaerobic gasket maker behind the new slave...
I bet that's your issue. You didnt put any there.
i sure didnt & honestly i didnt kno that any was needed but thanks for the advice. the car unfortunatlely is @ my moms house & i cant work on it because im army & stationed a lil bit but I will def try that when i put my new clutch & flywheel in the car
